The SMU Mustangs are expected to kick off the 2020 season Sept. 5 at Texas State. Tuesday night, SMU announced the captains for the upcoming season.
Quarterback Shane Buechele, wide receiver Reggie Roberson Jr., offensive lineman Hayden Howerton, linebacker Delano Robinson and cornerback Brandon Stephens were selected as captains by their teammates.
