Best thing for the program long term. Dude was a parasite to the program. I’ve heard there have been quite a few grad transfer QBs interested in coming to SMU. A couple long shots, but BIG names, and a couple that would be very quality additions. Ben wouldn’t have beaten any of them out, and may not have been able to beat out Will Brown after the next offseason. Staff really likes Will’s potential.
