We all enjoyed the SMU football billboards that featured the "Born and Raised" campaign, which showed all of the players representing the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Now it's time for the basketball players to get their love.
Two men's players and three women's players will be featured in DeSoto, Irving and Grand Prairie. Feron Hunt is on a billboard with JaQuia White and Kayla White, as they represent DeSoto. Everett Ray played at Trinity Christian Academy in Addison, but he's from Irving and will be represented accordingly. Amber Bacon is from Grand Prairie.
Big fan of these campaigns, and I hope they equate to landing more local talent in both football and basketball.
