According to ETSN, Claude Mathis is lined up for AD and coaching job at Marshall HS. on Monday ESPN Central Texas program director David Smoak reported Mathis was in final negotiations with Marshall Independent School District to become head football coach and AD. Shortly after, Marshall ISD put a noon meeting Thursday on its docket and the agenda includes acting upon the superintendent's recommendation on a new football coach and AD.
