Congrats to DT Pono Davis, who will play in the Hula Bowl on Jan. 26 in Honolulu. Davis is from Kailu-a-Kona, Hawaii. He's coming home.
Davis had 30 tackles, two sacks and two quarterback hurries in 2019, doing his part in helping SMU to a 10-win season. He is the fifth SMU player to accept an invitation to a senior bowl game, joining James Proche, Patrick Nelson, Delontae Scott and Rodney Clemons.
