Just got a call from the SOC recruiting coordinator. SMU told Lamont Johnson today that they were pulling his scholarship. The recruiting coordinator sounded pretty incensed, saying that Lamont had turned down other schools that came to him in the last few weeks saying he was sticking with SMU. This will keep developing but it looks like this situation could get ugly and SMU may have closed a door at South Oak Cliff.
