Due to the Williams commitment and my class schedule, I was unable to get interviews with any today before practice. However, I stuck around and took a few notes:

LB and Sterling were giving some of the players grief for how fast they went through suicides before practice. After he finished his up, Sterling turned around and put his hands on his hips, shaking his head sarcastically at his teammates.Jordan Tolbert had some bad luck after a nice defensive play; he blocked a Ryan Manuel layup in transition but the ricochet of the block sent the ball into the cylinder still. JT could not believe the luck, while Ryan was all smiles. Later, Jordan blocked an Emelogu layup and he made sure to grab the rebound so that one stayed out of the bucket.Markus was a little late to practice but was strong on the boards once he got warmed up.The team's work on denying the entry pass during drills might be working too well, as the offense had trouble getting the ball into its big men during scrimmage as players like Sterling and Ben Moore kept stealing balls intended for the big men.As a whole, the team did not shoot the ball well on Monday. Even the normally reliable Nic Moore was inconsistent. If anyone were the best shooter of the day, it was Ryan, though mostly from midrange. No sign of Keith Frazier at practice today.
