Larry Brown worked the team hard in practice today, its first since the loss to Temple. It was the first time I’ve seen them do a full-court scrimmage in a long time, even if it was just 4-on-4 as Nic Moore sat out. The team was exhausted during this, hands on knees, Markus Kennedy even dumping a water bottle on his during a break in an attempt to cool down. Larry Brown was unapologetic, saying he knew it had been a long time since the team ran like this but they needed it. Afterwards the team ran some basic shooting and layup/dunking drills that listened everybody up, though many were still clearly out of breath. This was all after the team ran through some strategy for what to expect from Memphis on Saturday.
