SMU point guard Kendric Davis was named to National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District First Team on Tuesday. He also was a U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) All-District Team selection.
Davis is fresh off a career-high 35-point performance in the AAC Tournament against Cincinatti. SMU, which plays in the NABC's District 24, will face Boise State on Thursday in the NIT.
Davis was a unanimous All-AAC first-team selection. He leads the conference in scoring, assists and assist-to-turnover ratio.
