Point guard Kendric Davis has been named the American Athletic Conference Player of the Week after leading the Mustangs to three victories last week, including a big road test Saturday at Dayton.
Davis averaged 17.3 points, 9.0 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 3.3 steals in games against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Houston Baptist and Dayton. Against the Flyers, he finished with 21 points and six rebounds.
