He said he got all tingly during the shipphead "investigation" of DISD, felt all fluttery that ncaasuck was gonna take a look, and so had compliance do our own "dig deep" tunnel project --- WTF!!!
You know he was only protecting his own perceived Knight rep, not us. Compliance is a support function, a reference source for coaches and players, not a local arm of ncaaSTasi. because they performed exactly as Turner intended. He even bragged that the ncaasuck complimented his compliance program, and said they couldn't have killed us without it. No skin off the knight's nose.
He arranged a circular firing squad, and stepped out of the circle. This is treachery, beyond incompetence.
LB SET-UP
In retrospect, it is apparent that turner did not trust LB to cover the knight's ass, so he hired Jank to ensure he could pull the plug (or the rug) on Larry. Worse, he shoved nitwits up LB's ass to watch his every move, and report back. What is this the old Soviet Union with its KGB. This is no way to represent a great University.
This is cowardly, effete behavior. Turner is all about Turner, what a jerk.
Billion dollar damage
The ncaasuck has harmed us immensely. They are a fiduciary, they owe us good faith and fair dealing, and must act to protect our reputation. Also, they must restrain their agents and emissarres from slander and self dealing. They cannot interfere with our business opportunities. Turner sides with them, he thinks we are bad boys and must be watched constantly and punished.when we show independence. what a kook.
This was a slow motion train wreck. Everyone saw it coming for over a year. ncaasuck leaked its talking points to it's buttboys in Dec. of last year, it intended to use us as posterboy for its new "powuh" - coach control. This was supposed to address systemic abuse, not isolated incidents. Pedo State was systemic abuse by setting up an apparatus to derail any and all investigations,
Against us and Keith, this was an obvious abuse of their new "powuh", but they got away with it bec. Turner agrees we must be constrained, what an asshole. We are a laughingstock because of Turner, do any sports powers respect Turner for using us as his pet project to restore amateurism to collegiate athletics.

The Future
Everything goes in cycles. To succeed now we must embrace our past. We have, and always have had, great people. We are not boy scouts and we are not bureaucrats. Our greats have been brought down by small people with no vision, no appreciation for winning and who cannot wrap their small minds around greatness. The Cowboys are America's team and we can be America's school.
We have great coaches that must be encouraged to stay and have their programs facilitated.
Bring back the real Pony Express, and defenestrate the deceivers and pretenders.
