Brown - Manuel is getting better everyday. Everybody knows he defends great but he's also doing a lot of other things and it's neat to see him step up his senior year. He's less than 100% but without Keith or Justin, his performance is even more important. I think he has to be a threat and take more shots. I'm on him and Ben Moore everyday to take more shots.
You'd think you were crazy if u saw that Nic hadn't made any threes and Gu and Manuel had made some but it happened.
If you focus on winning and defending, then the shooting and other stuff falls a long with it.
UCF did a good job controlling the tempo. We buckled down in the last eight minutes though. I think UCF's program is ready to take off though, they have some good young guards.
We don't have a choice but to go big because they went big. If you have three bigs out there then you have to have shooters because the bigs aren't as good as defending the long shot.
At USF, i said MK didn't start because he wasn't in shape and i still don't think he's there. But we have 4 days to prep for a terrific team and Markus will really benefit from that. Our second team in practice is really good right now with Keith and Semi.
