QB Problem -> Rushing Problem

http://www.smumustangs.com/cumestats.aspx?path=football. By any measure, Hicks has has a rough start to the season and his interceptions are a real problem. Nevertheless, our biggest problem on offense is the running game.

But, in our three losses, we have rushed for:
Baylor: 176
TCU: 76
Temple: 89

It is very difficult to win with 2.8 yards per carry. Of course, most good offenses are not playing with a 4th team LT, a 2nd team LG, and featuring two true freshmen who didn't play RB in High School.

Dilemma:
1) we can't run the ball unless the passing game opens things up,
2) we don't have the QB and OL to pass consistently without a good running game.
