I'm sure many of you read this article already but here is a great summary of 2010-2014 and how it translates into final rankings.

Without being long winded, what does everyone take away from this? Quick bullets:

Seems as though we need to string together at least 2 years of top 50 classes along with good coaching to be a top 25 team. Stated differently, we don't have to have a top 25 class to be top 25;Other than coach Morris, having coaches name Patterson works - look at how Gary Patterson and Chris Patterson (Boise) have habitually outperformed; The Big 12 has fallen from consistently the deepest or 2nd deepest conference in the 2000s simply b/c the teams recruiting have fallen across the board;Baylor's now 4 classes deep into quality recruits; We need a lot of 3 stars and we'll be better than good; and...All is for not if you can't recruit a QB to run your system.

Plenty of additional observations and a good topic headed into this week's activity.
