The strength and conditioning staff should get big raises. For the last couple of years, SMU was disadvantaged in weight and strength. Not anymore in the AAC, and closing the gap with most FCS teams. With improved athleticism from recent recruits, future of this team looks pretty good.

Morris says his offense is all about fourth and short, his play calling hasn't reflected that in past games.....although play calls reflected his philosophy in this game. Maybe coaches need "bowl or bust" mindset for all games....

Give Freeman a break. He was recruited as a QB, converted to a DB, and then converted again to a RB....and he's a true freshman

By no means an I a uniform czar, but that red on gray just doesn't work.....

If Baylor comes calling, Morris should insist there be no penalty clause if another school comes calling....also protects himself should the hammer really fall on Baylor or if Baylor deemphasizes sports in the short term.

Good to see a few more starters on some of the special teams. Need even more on kick receiving teams.....

SMU hung in there, and short of some inexperienced players, could have handed USF their behinds.....
