SMU practiced Friday morning in front of a special visitor.

Dallas-based hip-hop artist Dorrough came to watch his hometown team prepare for it's upcoming season. Dorrough, who was raised in Lancaster, was best known for his 2009 single "Ice Cream Paint Job."

Sonny Dykes has made an effort to reach out to the Dallas community. The program hosted a series of camps this summer in South Dallas, where many of its players are from.

We'll have more coverage starting tomorrow as SMU hosts its second open practice of the year. Could be a couple of juicy tidbits coming out tomorrow, so stay tuned!
