SMU signed a Louisiana DB last recruiting cycle in Donald Clay. At one point, they were in position to sign a few more, largely because of Chris Scott, who is now at UH. SMU signed largely a Texas-dominated class and I'd expect the same for 2020.
Carey does not hold an offer from the Mustangs, at least yet. Toledo is an early offer for the 6-1, 180-pound DB.
