Texas State director of athletics Larry Teis announced Monday afternoon that the Bobcats, originally set to face SMU on Sept. 5 only to move the start date up a week, will return the season-opening matchup to its original start date. SMU and Texas State will play on Sept. 5 in San Marcos.
