Three former SMU football players were on the field last weekend for the 104th CFL Grey Cup. The 2016 league Most Outstanding Player, Bo Levi Mitchell, and defensive end Ja'Gared Davis were on the Calgary Stampeders sideline. Linebacker Taylor Reed, who opened the season with Calgary, was in the starting lineup for the Ottawa Redblacks. In the end Reed and his Ottawa teammates came away with the Grey Cup by a 39-33 count in overtime.
