I've noticed that two former SMU basketball standouts have landed spots on NBA Development Team rosters. Yannick Moreira is set to play for Raptors 905 in Mississauga, Ontario (a Toronto suburb). Markus Kennedy is on the roster of the Rio Grande Vipers in Hidalgo, the development team of the Houston Rockets.
The Texas Legends in Frisco host the Vipers on Friday, January 13th and again on Saturday, January 14th with both games starting at 7:30 pm. Perhaps a contingent of SMU fans can go out and show some support for Markus.
