Backup QB Rafe Peavey has transferred to FAU, per Jake Elman of the Palm Beach Post. This leaves Austin Upshaw and Will Brown as the backup QBs. Peavey is the second QB to transfer from SMU, following in the footsteps of DJ Gillins, who transferred to UTSA.
Peavey wasn't going to see much playing time, but would have been a good backup QB. He's eligible immediately at FAU.
