Peavey finished exactly ranked No. 250 in the 2014 Rivals250 and as a recruit he committed to Arkansas more than 18 months before he signed with the school, even despite a late push from schools like Ohio State and Missouri. But despite the number of magazines that flew off the shelf in anticipation of his arrival in Fayetteville, Peavey never got a chance to make an impact for the Razorbacks, redshirting in 2014 and not playing at all in 2015. Following that season he elected to transfer to SMU, where he sat out 2016. He is currently battling for the starting job with the Mustangs.
