Congratulations to SMU's Shane Buechele, who has been selected as one of 30 quarterbacks named to the preseason Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award Watch List, which was announced by the Davey O'Brien Foundation Tuesday. The award is presented each year to the nation's top college quarterback.
Buechele was a semifinalist for the award last season. He threw for a single-season passing record 3,929 yards and 34 touchdowns in 2019.
