"The SMU volleyball team will face Texas A&M in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in Austin, Texas, Friday at 4 p.m., earning a bid in the 64-team field for the second straight season. The Mustangs went 25-7 during the regular season, and won the American Athletic Conference championship with an 18-2 record.
The Mustangs made their first appearance in the tournament at Texas last season, falling to Purdue 3-1 in Austin. SMU, picked to finish third in the conference, led the league from start to finish, setting a program record for conference wins."
If SMU wins they'll play the winner between UT and UT Rio Grande Valley on Saturday
