SMU Football Drops Their 2025 Schedule, What games are you looking forward to the most?

SMU drops their 2025 football schedule. The Mustangs open the season at home with games against East Texas A&M and Baylor. They finish out September on the road in Fort Worth against TCU. SMU has ACC road games at Clemson and Boston College and they host Miami and Syracuse in 2025. Which games are you looking forward too?

  • DL Eric Taylor (Miss St): Did not play last season after being expected to compete for a starting spot. In 2023, Taylor had 15 tackles and a 0.5 tackle for loss in 12 games. The former LSU player transferred to Southwest Community College in 2021. He had 28 tackles, 8.0 TFL and 3.0 sacks during the 2022 season.
  • DL Damarjhe Lewis (Purdue): The 6-foot-3, 300-pound redshirt junior is one of the most recent additions for SMU. He spent his freshman year at Indiana. He appeared in the first two games of the year for Purdue against Fresno State and Syracuse before sustaining an injury. In his junior year, he appeared in 12 games with three starts. Posted eight tackles, three solos, and one tackle for loss. He saw no action during his freshman year at Indiana.
  • DL Trey Wilson (Baylor): The 6-foot-3, 245-pound strong-side end notched 21 tackles, 3 for loss, and a sack the past two seasons. This season, he played in 12 games, making 14 stops with one tackle for loss. He has two years of eligibility left.
