I personally think we will win the AAC and go to a New Year’s Day bowl game, in my unbiased opinion. Maybe I’m drinking the kool-aid, but I believe in Shane.

The best college football teams always have a great senior QB leading the team, and he will get the ball to Robertson and Rice plenty of times this year.

WR Tyler Page named a semifinalist for William V. Campbell Trophy

Congratulations to WR Tyler Page, who was officially named a semifinalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy on Thursday. The award, bestowed by the National Football Foundation, goes to a senior or grad student in his final year of eligibility, and that student-athlete must have at least a 3.2 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale.

Page has a 3.9 GPA and is studying finance. He's been named to the SMU Honor Roll with High Distinction, and he's a multitime AAC All-Academic Team member.

SMU WR TQ Jackson gets NCAA waiver approved

The firepower with the SMU wide receiver group got one stronger on Wednesday. Arkansas transfer TQ Jackson announced that his NCAA waiver was approved.

Jackson will join a receiver group that already includes Reggie Roberson Jr., Danny Gray, Rashee Rice and several other talented players. Jackson was a four-star prospect out of high school in the 2019 class.
